Heidi's Cousin Campy is the 17th episode of the 1st season of Andrew & Heidi.

Plot[]

At Andrew’s house, Dani is upside down using her PearPad. Andrew comes in a suit and asks Dani what’s she’s doing. Dani says she plans to be the first person to use her PearPad upside down. Dani says Andrew you’re wearing a suit. Andrew says Heidi invited him to her cousin's wedding. Andrew discovers Dani was listening in on his conversations with Heidi when she guesses it’s the bride’s wedding. Andrew says she will never find out when he and Heidi are doing. Heidi comes over and is wearing a dress. Andrew starts talking about his suit and Heidi says it looks good on him. Heidi says they are taking her grandma’s Dodge to the wedding. They then leave.

At the wedding, Andrew and Heidi are watching the wedding and the couple gets married. In the reception room, Andrew meets the married couple and sits down with Heidi and then her grandmother, Charlotte Makinney, comes at their table. Charlotte says is Andrew the boy who has been hanging around Heidi. Andrew says they met in the car. Charlotte asks they did and Andrew says yes. She says she forgot about him for some reason. Heidi then asks why her cousin Campy isn’t here. Charlotte says she doesn’t know. He is at France attending boarding college. She tried to call him, but he wasn’t there. Andrew asks what kind of name is Campy. Heidi says his full name is Cameron Stevenson and Campy is his nickname. Charlotte says when he was 6 years old, he went on a camping trip with his family and he loved it so much, they called him Campy. Charlotte says it’s been a month since she has spoken to him. Charlotte then leaves. Heidi thinks that since no one has heard from Campy, maybe something happened to him. Andrew asks why she thinks that and Heidi says for someone to not see or call family for a long time, something could of happened. Andrew and Heidi say they are going to find out later. At Andrew’s bedroom, Heidi is searching for Campy on her PearPad. Heidi manages to get some bio about him, but she still can’t find any information about him. Andrew asks to call him and Heidi tries to call him, but realizes she doesn’t have his phone number. Andrew asks if she thinks she can really find Campy and Heidi says she doesn’t know and they decide to get ice cream. Later while they are walking after getting ice cream, they notice a fortune telling place. Heidi points it out and says maybe if they go inside and ask about Campy, the person will know where he is. They go inside and Madam Fortune is sitting in a chair and asks what they are doing here. Heidi asks to locate her cousin and Madam Fortune tells them she has new carpet for the floor and asks them to take off their shoes. Andrew does it, but Heidi isn’t wearing socks and refuses. Madam Fortune and Andrew tell her to take off her shoes and she does. Andrew and Heidi introduce themselves and tell her about Campy. Madam Fortune sees him being kidnapped by criminals and being trapped in an abandoned building and is still there and the crystal goes dark. Andrew and Heidi worry because Campy has been kidnapped. Andrew pays the fortune teller and he and Heidi leave. Heidi says she has to save him. Andrew says that’s crazy because he’s in France. Heidi says the Eiffel Tower is there. Andrew accepts her going, but wants to go too. Andrew and Heidi finish packing and say that Campy has a guest room where they can stay. Andrew and Heidi tell Michael and Katy that they are going to France to save Campy. Andrew asks his parents if he can go with Heidi, but leaves before they can answer.

Andrew and Heidi arrive in the France airport and want to go see the Eiffel Tower first. They go to see the Eiffel Tower and then go to Campy’s apartment. They go inside and see it’s a fancy apartment. Heidi turns on the TV and Andrew joins her on the couch and sees the Drake and Josh episode, “Tree House” in French. Andrew and Heidi then decide to look around the apartment to see if there is any information about Campy. Andrew finds a list of phone numbers on the fridge. Andrew tells Heidi what he found. He says maybe one is Campy’s. Andrew says now they need an address on the criminals. Heidi finds it and starts to dial, but then forgets the number twice. Andrew dials the number instead. In an abandoned building., Campy is being held captive by four criminals. Heidi calls him and tells him that she’s here in France. She asks Campy to tell her where he is. Campy says no because the criminals will beat him up if he tells. The criminals go outside for some fresh air. Campy then tells her where he is. Heidi then hangs up and tells Andrew where he is and they go to the abandoned building. Andrew tells Heidi to go get her cousin. Heidi goes to see Campy and asks where is the key. He says one of the criminals has the key. The criminals come back and notice Heidi and she says she is here to rescue him. The criminals say they plan to make him suffer. Heidi says that’s mean. Campy says Heidi’s going to get him out. The criminals realize she’s his cousin and trick her into getting him, but when she goes in the cage to get him, they lock the door, trapping her and Campy. Andrew is waiting for Heidi and Heidi calls him and tells him what happened. Andrew goes up and demands the criminals to let them go. Andrew says he’s here to rescue them. The criminals then push Andrew around and one of the criminals throws Andrew against the wall. Andrew stands up and punches a criminal and kicks him in the groin. He throws another criminal against the wall and smashes a chair against his head. Andrew then punches and kicks another criminal in the stomach. Andrew then punches the last criminal and pulls the key out of his pocket and frees Heidi and Campy. Heidi asks if he’s okay and Andrew says yes and they kiss. Campy thanks Andrew for helping them and Andrew calls the police. Later at Campy’s apartment, him, Andrew, and Heidi go to bed and he thanks Andrew and Heidi for saving them. Campy goes to sleep and before Andrew and Heidi do, Dani calls Andrew and asks him if she can use her laptop upside down. Andrew says no and Dani asks what him and Heidi are doing. Andrew says he’ll tell her and then hangs up. Andrew and Heidi agree to tour around France and get souvenirs and they go to sleep. On the airplane, Andrew and Heidi are holding their souvenirs and are talking about Campy and France.

Quotes[]

Andrew: Heidi! Are you sure you know where you are finding this Campy dude?
Heidi: Yeah! The last time we heard was that he is living in France!
Andrew: Is he an American or French?
Heidi: He’s an American!
Andrew: Why does go to college in France then?
Heidi: Because he really loves French bread!
Andrew: Wow! A cousin of yours goes to this school in France, and he likes French bread! That sounds crazy as in crazy, crazy, and crazy!
Heidi: That was a total of four crazy’s I heard. [types on her pear pad] Here he is! Cameron “Campy” Stevenson! He’s 19 years old, and he lives in an apartment in France.
Andrew: It says here that he can translate in French language pretty well.
Heidi: Well, I can’t seem to find any information on Campy on the Internet.
Andrew: I know! You already checked his school website, his address and his other information, but you can’t seem to find any luck on him. You’ve been at this whole Campy thing since yesterday.
Heidi: [turns off her pear pad] I wonder what he could be doing.
Andrew: Why don’t you call him?
Heidi: That’s a great idea! [pauses] If I only knew his phone number. Oh whiz!
Andrew: Chiz!
Heidi: I got corrected!

Campy: Is that your boyfriend?
Heidi: Yeah! He's really a sweetie!
Andrew: I'm to cool for that word Heidi!
Campy: He's too cool for the word sweetie.
Heidi: Whaaaat?
